Fabric Panel Sewing Guide

1.Cut Fabric Panels to size allowing extra for
seams and pockets.

2. Use a narrow hem foot to hem side seams.

3. Sew narrow hem.

4. Narrow Hem

5. Press and pin top pocket.

6. Sew top pocket.

7. Insert dowel into sewn pocket.

8. Insert dowel into frame.


9. Bring the bottom of the fabric around the bottom dowel.


10. Tension the fabric slightly and pin in place.


11. Sew bottom pocket


12. Insert Top dowel followed by the bottom dowel.
The fabric panel should lie flat or if you have gone for
the gathered version arrange fabric evenly along the
length of the wooden dowel top & bottom.
